E-Sign Request Not Received

Created by Betty Ko, Modified on Tue, Nov 25 at 3:39 AM by Betty Ko

Overview

If a recipient is not receiving your Document Genius e-sign request, the email may have been filtered or delayed. Follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Why This Happens

Some email providers (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.) may incorrectly mark e-signature request emails as spam.
This can also occur due to temporary issues with global email-sending systems.

Ask the Recipient to Check Spam/Junk

Ask the recipient to check for messages from:

  • Document Genius

  • Subjects like “Sign Your Document” or “Signature Request”

They should also search their inbox for:

  • “sign”

  • “document”

  • your name

If they find it, they should mark the email as Not spam and move it to the inbox.
